The last soil is called loam soil. The sand particles in loam soil are 25 to 50%.  The silt particles are up to 30 to 50%, and clay particles are up to 10 to 30%.  Water will soak into a loam soil slower than it will into sand but faster than clay.  Loam soil has some organic matter in it so it holds some water back.  Gardeners call this soil "black gold" because it has a lot of nutrients in it that help crops grow.  Roses, gardenias, wisteria, and azaleas all grow well in loam soil.
